Seeking an Aura

My research examines the social, political, and economic dimensions of computer culture using mixed methods grounded in science and technology studies (STS), feminist scholarship, and Marxist theory. I am particularly interested in the connections between venture capital, artificial intelligence, and life extension technology. I co-edit the web-based project, Platforms, Populisms, Pandemics, and Riots (projectpppr.org), which features the work of emerging and established scholars engaged in current debates around tech ethics, global labor politics, and environmental sustainability.

As a recovering artist, I am always looking for an aura.
